My Team

Metropawlitan Dog Training is comprised of a small, close knit team, all working towards one singular goal in mind: to help you develop your own Metropawlitan!

Suzanne Mah Woo, BSc. is the owner and head trainer of Metropawlitan Dog Training, located in Calgary, Alberta.   Her Animal Science degree from the University of Alberta, her graduation from the prestigious Triple Crown Dog Academy as a certified canine training and behavior specialist, and her years of hands on experience with different training methods and techniques has led her to create her own system of balanced training: a blend of positive reinforcement and fair but humane corrections to help her pack and her clients create a dog that happily works for his owner, but works reliably with or without the presence of rewards. She owns two German Shepherds, Cavalli and Kimora, both of which are actively training in competitive obedience, and the sport of Schutzhund.

Adrienne Palmer, BSc. achieved her Animal Science degree from the University of Calgary. She is also a graduate from the prestigious Triple Crown Dog Academy as a certified canine training and behavior specialist. Her pack consists of Molly, her 12 year old shepherd mix, Coop, her border collie mix, Clyde, her eyecatchingly beautiful and good natured Catahoula mix, and Orley, her most recent addition – a marvelous German Shepherd. While Molly and Coop are enjoying semi-retirement, Clyde is actively training in obedience and is hard at work becoming the new ambassador for Metropawlitan, while Orley is working towards his competitive obedience and Schutzhund titles.

Together, Suzanne and Adrienne and their pack have successfully helped numerous dog owners in Calgary through their obedience classes, in their private training sessions, and in their highly specialized dog to dog aggression rehabilitation services. In being active in both competitive sports as well as obedience in the home and the real world, we understand what it takes to help you work with your dog in a way that enhances your relationship, but allows you to enjoy a truly obedient dog that you can take anywhere with you.
